FIRST STEPS: Beginning Meditation

First Steps is a four-week course on meditation and mindful living.

Learn the physiology of stress and how to alleviate it as well as sleep better, change your habits and live more mindfully. This course will teach you the foundational practices of mindfulness including sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful movement, mindful communication and loving kindness practice.

Four Tuesdays, July 10th to July 31st

SWEET SLEEP: A Four-week Course to Improve Your Nightly Rest

In this course, we’ll examine your pre-bed habits and talk about elements of a sleep hygiene practice. This will include easy movements for winding down, simple breathing techniques and other helpful tips. And then . . . what to do with . . . the mind that won’t turn off!  We’ll talk about that too.

We will entrain new habits in the nervous system and track sleep patterns through a sleep log. Throughout the course, we’ll continually refine what’s working/not working for you.
