Michelle offers oncology yoga therapy classes for cancer patients, survivors and care givers. For patients in active treatment, these classes can lower fatigue, reduce stress, improve function and sleep.

Myofasial Yoga
A floor-based class
Mondays and Wednesdays
10:00-11:30am on Zoom
$12/class (1st class is FREE!)
We’ll loosen tight pattens in the fascia (connective tissue) then strengthen more efficient patterns with standing yoga poses. We’ll always end with Yoga Nidra!
You will be asked to provide medical information in order to take the class (held in confidence under HIPAA compliance)
Yoga Therapy for Cancer
This class explores a variety of movement styles: yoga/chair yoga, Qi Gong, non-impact dance, and somatic explorations. Then we harness the mind into the stillness of meditation using concentration practices, lovingkindness and/or visualization. We’ll always end with yoga nidra.

Virtual Chair-based Yoga
These classes are designed to ease the side effects of cancer treatment, reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and adapt to participants’ needs. Includes breathing techniques, gentle joint-opening movements, standing yoga poses and a generous savasana.

In-person Yoga
Monthly on 4th Saturdays
In this in-person yoga class for cancer survivors and care givers, we’ll warm up the body, then do some yoga moves, maybe a little Qi Gong (outside if the weather is nice). We’ll always breathe and do yoga nidra.

Michelle’s Chair Yoga sessions have been a boon for me both mentally and physically. I have been participating in her sessions for over a year, and the positive results in my balance, flexibility, and mental well-being have brought significant gains. I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer two years ago and was not provided with a positive prognosis. I was unable to walk more than two blocks at one point. I now feel that I have a new lease on life. I play pickleball three times a week and feel that I am winning both on and off the court. Thank you, Michelle!
